FIRST LEGO League - Weekly Half-Day Summer Camps

FIRST LEGO League campers will use creative thinking and the official 2024–2025 FLL season game, SUBMERGED, to explore real world challenges through hands-on learning and problem-solving. Our camps are a great STEM opportunity for all children and give new FLL participants a valuable head start in understanding design, coding, and strategy for the upcoming season.

Camp Details:

• Dates: June 2, 2025 – July 31, 2025

• Location: McKinney STEAM Academy

• Schedule: Monday – Thursday

• Morning Session: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

• Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

• Ages: 8–12 years old

• Student-to-Teacher Ratio: 2:1

• Max Capacity: 12 campers per session

Camps are designed to offer continuous learning, challenges and excitement!  Students are welcome to join one or more sessions.  They do not need to be in sequence.  Join any session!

Students Will:

• Build and design a LEGO robot

• Learn block coding

• Customize their robot to complete multiple game missions

• Explore strategy and engineering

• Advanced students will be introduced to Python coding

Cost & Registration:

• $220 per camper per session (morning or afternoon)

• 10% discount for multiple camp sign-ups from the same family

• Registration Deadline: 6:00 pm on the Sunday evening before each session, unless sold out previously. 

• Join multiple sessions for fun and continuous learning!
